After his great acoustic show replacing Clay Hammond on the 28th of June, the Banana peel & Parsifal Records now offer Lightnin’ Guy the opportunity to record his second live album. During these sessions his loyal “Mighty Gators” will get the support of a bunch of top musicians and Guy Forsyth will be performing as a special guests.

After a long, dark & cold winter, the summer’s gonna be hot, steamy & spicy. There are 11 shows planned and Lightnin’ Guy will be playin’ 3 solo shows with his resonator & weissenborn guitars. With the Mighty Gators he will be setting the house on fire playing together with Joe Louis Walker (US), Fabulous Thunderbirds (US), … Check out the tour dates for July.

• Lightnin' Guy went in to the studio on 16th of May and recorded 14 brand new songs that will be the foundations his the new album.
• As you can see we are working on the official Lightnin' Guy Website: www.lightninguy.com Please send us your remarks and ideas.
• The new Weissenborn guitar finally arrived. And it’s the most extraordinary guitar Guy ever played. He already includes it in the shows to give an extra acoustic touch to the sets.
• Bass player Dominique Buyse decided to quit the Mighty Gators due to its very intensive schedule. Karl Zosel, who played with K’s Choice, Raymond van het Groenewoud, Boogie Boy… is replacing him. The whole band would like to thank Dominiek for the beautiful moments on the road and wish him all the best of luck.
